Re: my purchase of a Mercedes Benz 300SE
Hi Peter,
I though I’d drop you a line about how happy I am with my dealings
with you and Supamerc. Hosts of people have a very negative opinion of
Used Car dealers, and I suppose some of their opinions are entirely justified,
not mine however!
I form my opinion that some of their distrust should be centred on their
own failings and poor judgement when buying a used car, instead of blaming
the used car dealer. After all if you select, test drive and negotiate
purchase with a dealer, the dealer or salesperson cannot make an truthful
statement under Queenslands’ licensing of motor vehicle salespeople.
Perhaps in the process of making a decision some ‘things’
are forgotten or overlooked and it’s easier to blame a dealer than
yourself!
The Benz I have just bought from you goes someway to justifying my trust
in people and in particular Supamerc and other Used Car dealers. I have
bought 3 vehicles without ever seeing the cars to touch or test drive.
You might say it was done by ‘remote control’ and before the
critics start making noises, I have never been dissatisfied with any of
the vehicles when they were delivered. I’ve even had a battery replaced
after 6 months of ownership.
Anyways back to this gorgeous Benz that I picked up from TNT on Thursday
the 25th of June. The car is everything you said it would be and more,
unmarked and unblemished with 4 new tyres, new battery, new engine belts,
new JVC remote CD player and fully serviced. The interior and exterior
are what could be called ‘as new’ condition and the car drives
superbly (as it should!)….I suppose you could go as far as saying
I’m thrilled!
If I can refer back to our conversation regarding the price of the car,
and my saying to you ‘that there are similar cars at cheaper prices’
and your response that…‘I was correct in my observations’…however
I had ‘to look more closely at the value of the car I was buying….’
If this car is a true representation of the vehicles sold by you and Supamerc
it re-enforces everything you told me about differences in quality and
please accept my sincere thanks for your guidance, honesty and integrity
during my purchase, this car is absolutely ‘drop dead gorgeous’.
Being white in colour the exterior finish protection and the window tints
have added to the already great appearance the car.
In short, great car, great deal and a HUGE amount of customer satisfaction!
